In the last few months, we’ve assembled a small team to work with the Park Place community and the City of Norfolk’s Economic Development team to design and build a temporary pop up park on September 30-October 1. So far, our production team has built blocks at 757MakerSpace and I’ve included some images below for you to see their progress. We also held a community charrette last month and I’ve attached the results from community input below as well.

As the event is quickly approaching, we are looking for volunteers to help us make this a successful event! Please join us on Monday, September 11^th at 5:00PM at Assembly to learn about how you can help support our efforts for an inclusive and diverse community on 35^th Street.
