Purpose – A part of Architecture Month, we would like to create a Norfolk Pop-up Community Park that is urban, friendly and bikeable. This will highlight the collaboration between architecture firms and the community through creative design & urban infrastructure.  

Impact – This process will encourage community building, support local businesses through marketing, and, as well, educate the general public on the field and value of architecture 

Process – Architecture firms will work with local businesses and community members to develop a 6-week plan for the Norfolk Pop-up Community Parks to include sustainable materials, donations, recyclables, nature, etc. The debut of the pop-up community spaces will be a ribbon-cutting on April 21, take down April 23
