Attendees will gather with friends and colleagues to build community; learn new ways to recruit, inspire, and train advocates; and hear from thought-provoking guest speakers, including award-winning architects, who will challenge preconceptions of state and local advocacy. Architects in Action is your opportunity to connect with citizen architects and to learn from AIA members who are doing innovative advocacy work at large and small AIA components across the country. Attendees will also learn about state and local legislative trends, AIA policy initiatives, and advocacy resources available to members and components
