Presentation Summary:

Doing work in a foreign country is fun (and risky). Come participate with a firm that had been doing work in Ukraine before the war. Hear their work story, what happen when the work was put-on-hold for the war, and what the work may look like post-war. Also participate in a group discussion of reconstruction complexities and rehabilitation ideas. Brainstorm how the outcomes of the war can be turned into positive possibilities for the Ukrainian people

Four Learning Objectives:

  • Identify the complexities of working in Ukraine including any health, safety, and welfare (HSW) aspects of the work
  • Learn about the sustainability, resilience, and energy saving measures that are planned in the current work
  • Discuss how the war may affect those sustainability, resilience, and energy saving measures.
  • Discuss how the war would offer opportunities for improvements in their HSW, resilience, and energy standards

Presentation Style:

The speakers will present the case study and open up the discussion to the audience for intense audience participation.
